Storytime at the Guilford Free Library, Tuesdays at 10:45 AM.

The Guilford Central School Athletic Committee is working with (Herb Meyer) the Guilford Emergency Management Director, to distribute Tone-Alert Radios to all residents of Guilford, Halifax, Dummerston, Marlboro, Vernon and Brattleboro. If you live in one of these towns, in the Emergency Planning Zone, then you should have a Tone-Alert Radio. The radios are used primarily for notifying residents in case of an emergency at Vermont Yankee but, may also be used for other emergencies such as train derailments, chemical spills, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornadoes. The radios are FREE and come with a set of batteries. The Tone-Alert Radios will be delivered and set up by a committee member. The GCS Athletic Committee will receive $5.00 for each radio and set of batteries that it distributes.
If you would like to get your FREE Tone-Alert Radio or replacement batteries for your existing Tone-Alert Radio please call Diane Wood @ 254-2455
